The new Digital PVS Night Vision Goggles developed by Sage Technologies is a passive electro-optical night vision imaging device in a compact binocular configuration. It encompasses the specialized mission aspects that analog tube-based Night Vision Goggles have, while using a fully digital low-light sensor and an on-board digital computing platform — all in a compact, light package similar in size to existing dual-tube analog NVG systems.
The DPVS uses a common mechanical interface to most helmets, with PID adjustments and quick-disconnect features for safety.
